Building a Team of Knowlegeable Professionals, Not Generalists.

A small team today, focused on building a team who work together to significantly change the lives of others before themselves.

Mountain Wealth Investment Group was Founded by Riley Sisson in the year of 2021. We were previously known as Rivenes & Associates before Riley took the reigns. Prior to Mountain Wealth, Riley worked directly with Jim Rivenes for almost a decade learning how to evaluate and understand the investment decision making process. Jim was the Founder and CEO of Rivenes & Associates starting in the early 70’s with Jim at the time already having around 20 years of experience in the industry. Jim was the integral piece in Riley becoming who he is today and is something that can never be taken for granted. When Jim became confident that Riley was ready, he decided it was time to retire after an impressive 60+ year career in helping people navigate the public markets while planning for their financial future. Mountain Wealth’s goal is to build on what Jim has done by creating a Financial Practice that truly stands out from the others. We do not want to blend in to be like everyone else. We are unique which we choose to embrace, not shy away from.

Our team is small today which some might view as a negative, but we believe this is a huge positive. Why? Because this gives us flexibility to build a team hand picked to benefit the people who trust us, our clients. We want our team members to be committed to the clients success before their own. This means they put others before themselves, something that is engrained in the ethics of the individual. We do not hire for the sake of having someone to help. We hire people who are optimists and selfless, willing to put in the effort needed to drive excellence far into the future.

Riley Sisson

Founder, Mountain Wealth Investment Group

Branch Manager, Mountain Wealth Investment Group

Raymond James Financial Services

Riley was raised in Bozeman, Montana growing up golfing, skiing, a little fishing/hunting, and other outdoor activities that Montana has to offer.

When he was in high school, he was thinking about becoming an Engineer but then took an elective teaching him the basics of finance. He had a realization, finance (in his mind) is the most important concept to understand. This lead him to start working with Jim while he was still in high school, building his knowledge of the industry years prior to going to college.

He then went on to attend college in North Dakota on Golf & Education Scholarships. He completed his undergraduate with a double major in May 2018 (Financial Planning & Wealth Mgmt. & Business Admin. with Concentration in Accounting) from the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, North Dakota. Throughout his college career, Riley was persistent and dedicated to learn how to become a standout financial advisor in the industry. His main goal was to make sure he can continue to be himself and not being forced to do something he wasn’t motivated to do. He has found his motivation.

Since starting at Raymond James, he has developed skills to help others plan for their specific financial goals. In his free time, he still loves to golf, ski, and does more fishing than he used to do in his youth (He is past the phase of it being “boring” for him). He wants to show others how he can be an irreplaceable resource for years to come by being focused on the process of driving excellence.

Traci Sisson

Branch Professional

Traci has worked at the office in Bozeman for over a decade supporting Jim and Riley. She is now here to give Riley the ability to put in the time needed to focus on the investment management element of finance. The best thing about her is she enjoys her time bringing positivity into the office, which is always appreciated!

She lives in the Bozeman area with her husband Todd and three Scottish Terriers she loves dearly. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, seeing old friends and enjoying the summer months while they last in the great State of Montana.
